Web Host Codero Improves Customer Control Panel
Codero’s new Server Portal v2 interface
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Codero (www.codero.com) announced on Tuesday it has improved Codero Server Portal v2 (https://www.serverportal.com), which is designed to be a one-stop place for customers to manage their hosting accounts and give them exclusive access to information related to Codero’s products and services.
The announcement follows Codero’s launch of its customized off-site disaster recovery solutions, which includes design, deployment and management functions.
Since launching last November, Codero Server Portal v2 has continued to receive positive feedback from customers, said Codero.
Over the last few months, Codero’s development team took customer suggestions into account to make the control panel better by improving on individual features.
These improvements include a newly redesigned dashboard that offers increased usability, design and navigation, a new SMS service that notifies customers in the event of an emergency, an improved payment method that allows users to edit existing payment methods and delete outdated payment information, and an improved DNS management, rewritten to provide bulk modifications of DNS records through the online portal.
“Customer experience is what drives Codero to continually improve not only Server Portal v2, but every piece of software we develop and integrate,” said Nicholas Gaugler, VP of development and engineering at Codero. “We want to encourage engagement so we can personally help our customers succeed with their hosting solutions. We will continue to deliver additional features and functional enhancements to Server Portal v2 to make it even more valuable for Codero customers.”
In the coming months, Codero will have new functionality on the service page, allowing customers to see available upgrades and downgrades to their existing packages and schedule those changes, during a maintenance window of their choice, directly from Server Portal v2.
